Cross Bore Inspection Offerings

Pre-Inspection Preparation
We coordinate with clients to schedule inspections and obtain necessary access permissions. Prior to the inspection, we ensure that the sewer lateral is properly isolated and prepared for safe camera insertion.

Camera Inspection
A specialized CCTV camera system is carefully inserted into the sewer lateral through existing access points or cleanout ports. The camera navigates through the lateral, capturing high-resolution video footage of the interior in real-time.

Cross Bore Detection
Our trained technicians meticulously analyze the footage to identify any signs of cross bores, where the sewer lateral intersects with other underground utilities such as gas lines. We pay close attention to potential points of intersection and any indications of compromise.

Reporting and Remediation
Upon completion of the inspection, we provide detailed reports to clients, including video documentation of the inspection findings, photographs, and recommendations for remedial action if cross bores are identified. Depending on the severity of the findings, remediation efforts may include excavation, relocation of utilities, or installation of protective measures.
